Villa Maria Terms and Conditions relating to the ‘Win the trip of a lifetime to New Zealand with Villa Maria’ Competition

 

1. 1. Promoter: means Villa Maria New Zealand Wineries (UK) Limited, with Company Number 09709138 and registered office: Herschel House, 58 Herschel Street, Slough, Berkshire, United Kingdom, SL1 1PG (Villa Maria)
   2. Promotion Name: The title of the competition is: Win the trip of a lifetime to New Zealand with Villa Maria.
   3. Promotion Details: Win a 14 night holiday for two adults in New Zealand by submitting an online form and confirming: “Why do you want to visit New Zealand?”.
   4. Promotion Period: To enter the ‘Win the trip of a lifetime Trip to New Zealand’ competition, entrants must complete and submit their entry between 00:01 BST Monday 13th June (Opening Time) and 23:59 BST Monday 22nd August 2022 (Closing Time) inclusive. All competition entries must be received by the Promoter via the weblink detailed in paragraph 6 below between the Opening Time and the Closing Time (the Promotion Period). All competition entries received before or after the Promotion Period are automatically disqualified.
   5. Entry Restrictions:
      • 5.1 This competition is open to anyone resident in England, Wales and Scotland, aged eighteen (18) years of age or over, other than:
        • 5.1.1 employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
        • 5.1.2 employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; and
        • 5.1.3 and members of the immediate family (defined as parents, children, siblings, spouse and life partners) or household of paragraphs 5.1.1 and 5.1.2 above.
      • 5.2 A maximum of 1 entry is permitted per person during the Promotion Period for all prizes.
      • 5.3 Entries on behalf of another person and joint submissions are not allowed.
      • 5.4 Incomplete, altered, forged or corrupted entry forms will not constitute an entry and will be automatically disqualified.
      • 5.5 Entries which are:
        • 5.5.1 automatically generated by computer,
        • 5.5.2 multiple entries
        • 5.5.3 from agents,
        • 5.5.4 from third parties,
        • will be not be accepted by the Promoter.
      • 5.6 In entering the Promotion, entrants confirm that they are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the Main Prize and the Runner-up Prize. The Promoter may require an entrant to provide proof that they are eligible to enter the Promotion. Entries will only be accepted by the Promoter if they comply with these Terms and Conditions.
   6. Entry Method:
      • 6.1 Internet access required to participate.
      • 6.2 Entry is strictly via https://www.villamariawines.com/winthetripofalifetimenz during the Promotion Period.
      • 6.3 Entrants must follow the online instructions to complete and submit an online entry form. The entry form may require entrant information, including full name, date of birth, email address, phone number, and address.
      • 6.4 No purchase is necessary.
   7. Use of Data: All details provided by you will be held by the Promoter and only used in accordance with these Terms and Conditions and the Promoter’s Privacy Notice available at https://www.villamariawines.com/privacy-policy/ and for the purposes of contacting the winners via email, phone, and mail in connection with the prize draw.
   8. Receipt of Entries:
      • 8.1 The Promoter cannot be held responsible for network, computer or software failures of any kind, which may restrict or delay the sending or receipt of your entry.
      • 8.2 The Promoter is not responsible for entries not received and/or any lost entries.
   9. Main Prize Details:
      1. The Main Prize: is a fourteen (14) night holiday tour of New Zealand. The holiday is for the Main Prize winner and one (1) guest and includes:
      2. 1.1 Flights:
         1. Return Premium Economy flights from London Heathrow (LHR) or London Gatwick (LGW) airport, UK to Auckland (AKL) airport for two adults to be booked by the Promoter. For the avoidance of doubt, all flights must be booked at the same time and used on the same itinerary. The flights may not be sold, traded, transferred, refunded or exchanged for cash.
         2. Airlines included in the Main Prize are at the sole discretion of the Promoter and may include a stopover of up to 6 hours. Airline information will be provided to the Main Prize winner at the time of booking. All flights are with 5-10kg hand luggage and 15-20 kg checked-in suitcase per person.
         3. Internal air transportation in New Zealand between AKL and Queenstown (including airline and flight itinerary) will be booked by the Promoter and is at the sole discretion of the Promoter.
      3. 1.2 Accommodation:
         1. Fourteen (14) nights of hotel accommodation at a variety of locations in New Zealand in hotel accommodation rated a minimum four (4) star (such accommodation to be at the sole discretion of the Promoter and the Main Prize winner cannot chose their own hotels).
         2. If for any reason where following the booking, the selected hotel cannot be fulfilled by the Promoter, (including availability) an alternative hotel of the same standard will be provided to the Main Prize winner.
         3. The Main prize is based on two adults sharing one standard double or twin room (subject to availability on the chosen date).
         4. The Main Prize is a tour of New Zealand and accordingly there will be several different locations as part of the Main Prize.
      4. 1.3 Included Extras:
         1. A fourteen (14) day private tour of New Zealand including; driver and guide, touring vehicle and fuel.
         2. A Private tour and wine tasting at the Villa Maria Winery in Marlborough (or such other Villa Maria Winery in New Zealand as decided by the Promoter).
         3. Breakfast will be provided on each day of the fourteen (14) night holiday by the Promoter.
         4. In addition to breakfast, the Promoter will provide an additional seven (7) meals over the fourteen (14) night holiday at the choice and discretion of the Promoter. The Main Prize winner and guest will be responsible for all other meals, snacks and drinks.
         5. Domestic transport (car, train, ferry) to and from airports and hotels arranged by or on behalf of the Promoter in New Zealand during the fourteen (14) night holiday are included.
         6. Additional activities, which will be confirmed at the time of booking.
      5. Available and Excluded Dates:
         • 2.1 The Main Prize holiday must be booked after 1st September 2022 and is to be taken between 2nd January 2023 and 23rd December 2023.
         • 2.2 The Main Prize cannot be booked during 24th to 26th December inclusive and 31st December to 1st January inclusive.
         • 2.3 The Main Prize cannot be taken during the months of March, April and August in 2023.
      6. Excluded Items:
         • 3.1 The Main Prize does not include travel insurance, spending money, tax or personal expenses and only includes those meals detailed at paragraphs 9.1.3c and 9.1.3d. Any other costs incurred incidental to the fulfilment of the Main Prize (including, without limitation, additional meals, snacks, drinks, tips, souvenirs and hotel incidentals), are the responsibility solely of the Main Prize winner and/or guest.
         • 3.2 The Main Prize winner will be responsible for all other expenses not covered by the Main Prize, including, but not limited to all ground transportation from and to LHR/LGW.
         • 3.3 Alcoholic beverages are not part of the Main Prize and are expressly excluded, with the exception of the wine tasting at Villa Maria winery in Marlborough.
      7. Travel Requirements:
         • 4.1 It is the Main Prize winner’s responsibility to check availability for travel and that they hold valid passports and any necessary visas and travel documents for the relevant period of travel, and ensuring all COVID-19 requirements (including any vaccinations, testing requirements and self-isolation requirements) are adhered to for the duration of the Main Prize holiday on the relevant travel dates.
         • 4.2 It is the responsibility of the Main Prize winner to ensure that they and their guest are available to take the prize on the relevant dates. If the winner cannot travel between 2nd January 2023, and 23rd December 2023 (excluding those dates detailed as excluded at paragraph 9.2), the Main Prize will be forfeited in its entirety and awarded (time permitting) to an alternate winner in a random drawing among the remaining entries received.
         • 4.3 Passports must be valid for travel with a minimum of six months on the date of departure from the UK when taking up the trip. It is the responsibility of the Main Prize winner to:
           1. organise and pay costs associated with obtaining visas for themselves and their guest;
           2. ensure that they and their guest are adequately insured including without limitation covering overseas medical costs, and;
           3. (ensure that they and their guest adhere to the travel itinerary and other relevant safety instructions as set out by the Promoter.
         • General:
           • 5.1 Flights, accommodation and activities are subject to availability at the time of booking.
           • 5.2 There is no cash alternative for the Main Prize.
           • 5.3 All transfers, travel and meals will be as detailed in the tour operator’s itinerary and notified to the Main Prize winner in writing.
           • 5.4 The tour operator will be confirmed to the Main Prize winner upon notification of winning the Main Prize.
           • 5.5 The Main Prize is non-refundable and non-exchangeable. The Main Prize is not transferable and no alternative will be offered.
           • 5.6 The Main Prize is as offered, no extensions or upgrades are available.
           • 5.7 The Main Prize winner’s guest must be 18 years of age or older.
           • 5.8 The Main Prize winner and guest must travel together. All details of travel and accommodation are subject to availability.
           • 5.9 The Main Prize winner will need a current and valid credit/debit card with sufficient available funds in order to check in at the hotels for security deposit purposes.
           • 5.10 The Promoter shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or flight substitution or any act or omissions whatsoever by the air carrier(s), accommodation provider(s), activity provider(s), or any other persons or companies providing any of these services and accommodations. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage to baggage. No refund or compensation will be made in the event of cancellation or delay of any flight.
           • 5.11 Use of the Main Prize is conditioned upon Main Prize winner and their guest conducting themselves at all times in a socially responsible, respectful and appropriate manner; should the Main Prize winner and/their guest fail to do so, the prize may be immediately terminated and the Promoter may pursue other legal sanctions against the Main Prize winner and/or their guest as applicable. Further travel and/or accommodations restrictions may apply.
           • 5.12 It is the responsibility of the Main Prize winner to inform the Promoter of any wheelchair or similar access requirements for the Main Prize winner and/or their guest when taking up the Main Prize, and to adhere to any applicable health and safety guidelines.
           • 5.13 It is the responsibility of the Main Prize winner to adhere to the local laws in New Zealand at all times when in New Zealand. Particular attention should be given to the travel advice at: https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/new-zealand
           • 5.14 Lost or stolen tickets, travel vouchers or certificates or similar items will not be replaced once they are in the possession of the Main Prize winner or their guest.
