Cancelling Covid test for refund (Medicspot)

I ordered 5 rapid Covid tests with online observation for an upcoming trip to the USA - which we no longer need due to change in testing requirements. Medicspot have indicated that 'medical devices' are not covered by the same consumer rights as other online purchases, so we can't return for refund under the 'cooling off period' rights. Anyone know if there is any other way we may qualify for a refund, please?

Their Ts & Cs appear to endorse that position that testing kits are exempt from 'cooling off period' refund rights, so you'd need to make the case that those contract terms are unfair if you feel that such an exemption is invalid under the legislation:

If you can't make a case that they've breached the contract then your options are likely to be limited, if any - a chargeback via your card company is unlikely to produce a (permanent) refund, and it seems unlikely that insurance would cover this....
