                    Hi,
a few of the houses I’ve recently looked at have AGAs in the kitchen. The recent one has it supplying heat to the kitchen and bathroom when it is switched on. House is otherwise heated by gas.

I don’t like AGAs for cooking, and would prefer regular heating. Any idea how much it would cost to change the way the rooms are heated a is it just a case of having the AGA removed and radiators added?
I’d also want to replace it with a gas range cooker - as it’s gas already is that just a case of swapping them over with installation?
Thanks

Depending on how accessible the CH plumbing and how easy it is to route pipes to the bathroom/kitchen, it shouldn't be too expensive. If you don't have much wall space in the kitchen, it is well worth fitting a plinth heater (although you will need a fused spur) - Got one in my kitchen and it gives a warm breeze across the floor.
Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

Depending on the age of the AGA you could sell it and replace with gas range cooker quite easily. Again renning extra radiators should not be an issue if current boiler suitable.0
