Tea lights in luggage

Hi
I have some citronella tea lights.
Are these allowed in hand and/or hold baggage?
I've checked gov.uk and it doesn't mention these.
I did find a link that says TSA regulations say ok in both hand and hold, but that's not much good to me.
Flying TUI to Greece.
Thanks.

I'd make sure they're accessible and in your hand luggage, in case the wax shows as something dodgy on the scanners - be prepared that you might lose them1

TUI don't seem to mention them in their guidance:

Its only prohibited items you are not allowed to take and so if it doesn't fall within the definition of any prohibited items then by definition it can be taken.1

I had a wax tea light in my carry-on bag for years and so many flights, it might still be there. I never imagined any danger and no security process ever pulled it.

Thanks all for the responses.
I'll put them in my hand luggage and mention them at security.0 -
Buy some when you get there might be a good option. Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!1

I'm not sure if they sell them.
I found these in Aldi and haven't seen any tea lights anywhere else. Lots of large citronella candles in glass jars.
I'll risk it and if they don't like them in Security, they can keep them.
