In the solicitor pack mentioned to have no search Chancel Indemnity insurance. In the buying property area, there are no ancient churches near by and i can see only recent constructed church around 1 mill radius. is it necessary to buy the insurance? How can i do the search whether i fall in that chancel area or not ? is there any paid website where they can confirm?

How much is the insurance? I thought the point was that it's cheaper to insure than to instruct a search, and that it's peanuts anyway? What's your solicitor's advice?0

As above the insurance is cheaper than the search.
I didn't bother as my house is 20 years old and there are no churches around me. I also read it would be in the title for newer houses if it were relevant.0
