I believe that some of the ex-clampers are sending out PCN's indiscriminately on the basis that people will just pay up because they are fightened of going to court or damaging their credit record. It should not be down to how much a PPC can get away with.

It would seem that this is the case in Lichfield from some of the comments that have been made on the petition.

Good on the people that have stood out there with flyers to warn people. Well done :)

I will never use an Excel/VCS car park again. Neither would I visit Ye Old Nags Head in Castleton.

I'm sure that @Coupon-mad will find this potential Code of Practice dodge to be of interest in the context of the DLUHC Steering Group.  Thanks for the heads up @Beaudelicious 👍
    I do indeed.

The DLUHC get shown a lot of evidence by me and that includes a certain two MSE threads today.
I have long condemned those free to park tablets common at Pubs, Hospitals & Gyms, to name a few examples. They give no receipts either. I did suggest they were forced to offer a physical or electronic receipt when I completed the DLUHC consultation so perhaps its time to revisit that one for all types of parking, paid or free. I have never come across a Ticketless Pay metre before. Does anyone else know of this practice spreading?

Some time ago Excel were kicked out of Keighley. Very similar circumstances and I think that Ms Ambler's PCN was from this car park.

In my first hearing I had copies of the articles about the
Keighley car park as part of my WS. Excel's representative objected but the judge accepted them.
