Hi everyone,
Well, today has been manic so far. I ran Steve to golf at 8.00 so I could have the car, took Esben to nursery and Laura to the station and the had to go and pick Steve up. No, it wasn't the fastest round of golf on record, he'd had a call to say the smoke alarms were going off in the Yorkshire house and the people in there couldn't stop them - they are very loud because every room has an alarm and they all go off at the same time. Steve tried to get in touch with the bloke who fitted them but he is away so STeve has gone up himself to sort it. Lucky he is so handy (and has a degree in electronics so he knows what he's doing).
Laura has added me to their car insurance (amazingly at no extra cost) so that I can pick Esben up - it will be useful because hopefully we won't have to swap his car seat around so much. She and Brian are in London today so I was going to have a nice quiet day to myself, so far it hasn't materialised.
Mehefin, I'm glad you got the pony, I hope he settles in with the other two ok.
Coxy, I'm sorry your mum was like that, it makes it hard to do anything nice for people who are unappreciative.
Have a good day.9 -
Hot and sunny here this morning, slight downside is hayfever is grim. Still Covid positive, but line more faint. OH was a star yesterday, I bought a new garden locker last week in an attempt to tidy up plant pots, trays etc and he moved them all around and took down old and built up new A*di greenhouse I bought a while back (Ruby another one excited by new garden stuff). Have begun re-equipping the caravan ready (finger crossed) for holiday at the end of the month, after emptying it for service.
The morning has flown by again, have a good day all.The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. (Abraham Lincoln)7
