BLME 2 year 3% via HL Active Savings

First 3% rate I've seen below 5 years, though only available until the 15th.

Strange given they are only offering 2.65% direct. I wonder what they are trying to achieve at HL.

HL has mostly been a bit pants for decent rates these last few months, which is a shame as its quite convenient and better than Raisin in my view, but I do use both. 

Two years seems a long time in the current climate, but hey 3% vs S&p dropping nearly 4%, just today!

BLME’s 1 year rate with HL is also higher 2.5% vs 2.35% direct. Maybe we’re going to see stiffer competition between savings platforms or it may just be part of HL’s cashback strategy which ends June 40th.

They’ve had some good rates e.g. 9 months @ 2.25% with Charter, 1 year @ 2.4% with Investec. Always comes down to timing and whether I can take advantage of any of them!
