Hi
In September I got a Capital One Classic CC to help build up a credit rating after years of not having any credit accounts. I was aware that they increased your credit limit on your 4th statement however I've just logged on to view my account and my 3rd statement has just been produced with a £200 increase in my limit.
Have they just brought forward my increase or am I likely to get another one on my 4th statement
Cheers, Tori x

I would say that is your credit limit increase on this months statement. I doubt you'll get another one this month.0 -
Lucky you......... Not many people get even 200 pounds out of Cap 10

My limit stayed the same for a year then they increased it by £1000. Shocked? I was speachless! lol0

you make it sound like a good thing an extra £200 pounds debt ! we have just closed all but one card and i feel just in time because from what i understand a lot of lenders are considering raising the min payment required .Lucky you......... You dont have to use an extra £200................ Its just there, if you use it thats your choice....
Its nice to have choice though:D mind you at 34.9% i dunno if id like to pay it back...... id hate to find the waste of money.0 -

at this time of year whats the chance of someone NOT using the increased limit ? i am FULLY aware that is is the op choice if he/she uses it but if we were all sensible in the first place there would be no need for this site ! your post gave the impression that the chance to increase your debt was a good thing !!!  :mad:This is a system account and does not represent a real person. You're both right Chrissy and Zebedee ...It is nice to have the extra £200 if I need it but I do need to be careful not to spend it fruitlessly!
However I do pay off the full balance by DD every month so I'm not paying interest or building debt ... :A:happylove Tori Bellatrix :happylove
