Help with EDF tariff
Comments
-
It is not expected that the standing charges will go up, or if so only minimal.
Problem with the fixed tariff is that the good ones are all only for existing customers, not for new ones.
EDF is offering much better tariffs to other customers, it seems to be a lottery what they offer customers on the web site. Maybe contact the support directly and see what they can offer you.0 -
@mobtr said "EDF allow you to leave a tariff within 90 days on the end date"
That helps , thanks for that and to everyone else.. Nearly clicking that fix button. But not quite.
Is there a cooling off on a fix. Can only find info for new customers. Was just thinking grab it today to get time to think.0 -

14 days but some suppliers if you can then up may defer it say for 1st July then you get your 14 days from there. EON Next are one of those companies but worth a try with EDF?0 -
Many thanks. Gonna click that button tommorow. I think.1

Got my bi8ll today, it said is estimate, even though last reading is "your reading" so not sure why it says estimated but oh well.
Bill not overly easy to work out what's what but i think I've managed it, not as easy to understand as previous suppliers to date.
Long a short of it seems to be my credit i had transferred from previous supplier has been used but I'm still in credit due to payments made each month so overall my DD has not changed but it doesn't say they have reviewed it and its staying the same so will wait and see what happens towards end of June and see if it get changed as if i look on the change tariff option, the variable says I need to pay more than im paying now so i was expecting my DD to change to that figure but nope.
