Cooker Extractor Fan & Lights Not Working

Good Afternoon,
About a month ago the cooker Extractor fan and lights stopped working on our old Candy extraction unit. I have today taken it apart to have a look and was wondering if the transformer is the issue? There doesn't seem to be that many other things that could cause this problem but I am by no means an expert.
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Having read a little more it seems there may be a fuse somewhere that may have blown which I cannot yet find. 🤔

Is there an isolation switch close by for the extractor hood ?
You'll usually find there is a fuse under a small cover next to the switch (on the same faceplate).

Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

I had the same happen with our extractor.  It turned out that part of the circuit board on the switch panel had blown the track off!

Not quite sure what caused it but I ended up soldering on a piece of wire to re-make the circuit and it then worked for another 12 months until I replaced the kitchen.

I would advise against doing this unless you know what you are doing and how to work out the correct wire to use.
