Accountancy service for part-time DJ work?

I'm starting to have mobile DJ gigs every weekend, and the income is at the point where I will definitely need to file a tax return next year. I also want to be able to offset equipment purchases against the tax return.
I work full-time as a software engineer during the week and pay tax through PAYE at the moment in addition.
Does anyone have any recommendations for accountancy services that would work for this setup? Any personal recommendations of services you've actually used would be really helpful.
I've tried filing a tax return myself when my wife was self-employed for a year, and got into a lot of trouble with HMRC because I made a mistake which cost us lots of money. So I'd rather not do it myself.0

You are probably better asking friends or relatives for a recommendation of someone they've used and been happy with.0
