Mitsubishi Eclipes Cross reg 6/18. Purchased 1/19 with 10 miles (?????) on it. 2 yrs warranty. Had 1/2/3 services free (last 6/2021) covered 7500 miles now (shops). 4th service due now. I would have to pay for (?£250). All I can see for 4th service ( other than oil/filter), is fuel filter, air cleaner, reset reminder.
Q - would you just go for oil/filter change and save the money ? Age 70..not looking to sell

I must admit I went with a 5 year service plan with my at Peugeot £815.00.
Took out another one last year for 5 more years at £900. £14.99 a month with emac.

Direct with my local Peugeot it’s £1330.00 and through emac.

I would only use quality parts if serviced by my local mechanic, I provide parts and just pay labour.
Basic service, Total brand Oil £50, Oil filter Mann £15, Pollen filters £20, brake fluid £5 Total = £90.00 plus labour, 2 hours £90.
Basically same price as main dealer.
Pollen filters is a 30 min job at best.
I could buy cheaper parts but my car will be 6 in September and I might just get to 18,000 miles.
My plan is to keep it until 2029 ish, then go electric so want it in the best condition I can.

I must say that your main dealer charging £250 is not bad at all.

As Bigwheels says, that's not a bad price if it's at the dealer. Your local trusted independent garage will be cheaper though.
Tall, dark & handsome. Well two out of three ain't bad.

Very few places will do a service with customer supplied parts, it's just not worth the hassle.

I'd be inclined to get a full service done, just in case you want to change car later. You're taking on a fairly large risk to save not much money in a car that's still worth quite a lot.

Yes I’d go will the full service as well, you get the all important stamp in the book, which might come in handy if you have problems just out of warranty, of course the dealer doesn’t have to fix your car, but you can argue you’re a loyal customer ect ect, and it can add a little bit when you come to sell…

I am in the same position as you. I bought the final car I intend to buy in 2019, and it is now out of warranty and due a £250 service (again little more than count the wheels and do an oil & filter change which I can do myself for a fraction of the cost) despite having done low hundreds of miles since last year.

I'm getting it done for the stamp in the service book. For all I know I will have to stop driving in a few years, or I could even change to an electric car which I hadn't anticipated before The War. Having the legendary FSH will make it a lot easier to sell and worth more money.
I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

(except air quality and Medical Science ;))

Mitsubishi are pulling out of Europe, so the chances of out-of-warranty goodwill may be slim.
