Deed of alteration removes the need for Probate?

    If I were her, I’d apply for probate asap anyway because if a couple of weeks down the line it becomes clear that probate is needed, she’s wasted time. 
    She can apply herself online if she’s an executor - it’s very straightforward. I did it for my mum’s estate and received it within 8 weeks.
