Any idea where I can get a shallow plastic tray for cleaning my BBQ grills etc i guess similar to some people use for oven shelves / grills
Tis the season for BBQ cooking = BBQ cleaning

I have looked at stuff like a cat litter tray but cant find anything the right size. Doesn't need to be deep but needs something 80cm wide by 50/60 deep for all the bits to scrub, basically my sink isn't big enough!

Thanks in advance

EDIT: Sorry wrong area of forum!! doh! Please could a Mod move it  :#

Something like this might do the trick.

    https://www.amazon.co.uk/Garland-GAL68TB1-Titan-Garden-100x55x15/dp/B001QJ4352/ref=sr_1_13?keywords=oven+rack+soaking+tray&qid=1654868613&sprefix=oven+rack,aps,259&sr=8-13&th=1

I would just check whether the material is suitable for whatever liquid you're going to put in it, if it's particularly caustic.

Gravel trays from a gardening centre - They come in a variety of sizes, and you will probably find one big enough.

Probably bigger than you need, but cheap 'n' cheerful.  Should withstand most household cleaning chemicals as it's pretty tough plastic.
(No need to buy it online if you don't want, they'll sell them at B&Q, Wickes, anywhere like that)
<Edit> just re-read your original question - this will be fine for the grills, but won't meet your requirement for 50/60cm deep.  Sorry about that

Good suggestion. A garden centre is where we bought ours. It is ideal for cleaning BBQ and oven shelves etc.

It is deeper than the concrete mixing tray above.
A man walked into a car showroom.
He said to the salesman, “My wife would like to talk to you about the Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
Salesman said, “We haven't got a Volkswagen Golf in the showroom window.”
The man replied, “You have now mate".

Lakeland Ltd do a tray specifically for soaking oven racks.  Can't remember if I bought mine with the oven cleaning kit as a bundle, or if I bought them as separate items.

Just googled it - the tray alone is £15.99.  It's deeper than most garden trays.

I use the bath in my garage for such jobs, doesn't everyone have an en-suite garage?
