oooh, might pop to Somerfield Thankyou.

Most of the chefs use ready rolled puff pastry (and confess to it!!). I have to confess I used it in a competition once - the hotel tried to offer me a job as pastry chef at the end of it!!!! I kept schtum about using the ready rolled and turned down the offer as it was a tiny salary and at the time I was in huge amounts of debt and couldnt afford a salary drop - but it showed the professionals couldn't tell the difference! :rotfl:

I know.......the cherries....:o .....I bought them about 3 months ago from the Polish section in Tesco in a mad 'I fancy those, they look a bit interesting' kind of moment - it is an enormous jar. I opened it a week ago and used some on a mousse I made so now the jar is open I need to chop them and take the stones out before they go off. Pain in the bum they all have stones in but that is going to be my job tomorrow. I'll probably freeze them in batches.

The juice is fab added to a pint of cider
