I've mentioned this before but here is an update.
Jan 31 - sign up to switch from SWEB to London energy so I can get the EDF online tarif.
Feb 1 - Realise they don't do E7 online so phone and cancel.
Feb 2 - Get paperwork from LE so phone and cancel again as precaution (no record of first call so good move by me).
Feb 14 - More paperwork from LE (move proceeding) - phone and cancel again. Virtually get called a liar about previous calls as no record again). Stick to my guns and they again accept cancelation.
Late Feb - switch to powergen online from SWEB.
Early May - Get a letter from Powergen, 'sorry you are leaving'. LE has switched me from Powergen to them. Phone Powergen and record eroneous transfer and transfer is blocked. Phone LE and tell them I've cancelled 3 times already. Guess what, there's no record. They eventually accept that I've cancelled and transfer has been stopped. I also put this in writing.
Late May - Get a letter from Powergen, 'we were unable to stop your transfer to LE'. Phone LE, 'you have a valid contract with us', they put an eroneous blockage on my eroneous transfer! Go through it all again and refuse to give them meter readings or set up online account.
Jun 10th - Letter from Powergen, they have transfered me back from LE after passing my objections on to them. LE acknowledged I did cancel in January.
Jun 13th (today) - Letter from LE, 'sorry you have left us, please contact customer services if you were unhappy with anything. We take your views seriously'.
Ha!
Regards

So I take it you're less than happy about your experience of London Energy then?0 -
Congrats on that!
I had my own problems with Npower a couple of months ago, ended up with two years worth of free electric because of it :j ... why do electric companies seem to be the worst listeners?
I found that they only took any notice when you asked for the details of OFGEN so you could make an official complaint!oooh look only about 220 posts and I got round to doing my Avatar already!!0
