Is this a good deal?
EDF, variable, economy 7 (electricity only).
Current prices: Day 37.2p
Night 14.14p
Standing charge: 41.75p
Before the price hike in April we were paying £197 per month by DD
With the price hike, EDF recommended we upped the monthly amount but didn't give any estimates that I saw; we upped it to £257 (based on whatever % was being talked about at the time).
When looking for the fixed price tariff, EDF estimated our current monthly costs as £211.
Fixed tariff until May 2024

Standing charge: 41.75p
Estimated monthly DD £244.
Is this the no brainer I think it is?!

Depends if you really take full advantage of the cheaper economy 7 rate or not.0

We don't really make use of the economy 7 as it's for the night storage heaters and we only run one at the mo and two when it is cold.0
