Removing base of kitchen cupboard

There could be dowels glued into holes in the base and sides. This is common with some suppliers where the units are delivered pre-assembled.molerat said:They won't be glued together. You need to look for screws attaching it to the back wall, to the worktop above and to the cabinets either side - the screws could be behind the hinge bracket in the cupboard next to it or if they have a false back behind that. There is also the very small chance that they could be joined by a bracket behind. If the legs have screw feet they should be loosened to drop it down from being wedged against the worktop.
I think the key point is the one others have made though: it may well be that the OP actually needs to remove the whole cupboard, not just the base of the cupboard.0
