    Hello
This has just happened to me. A week! After buying a 22k 1.4T model from a main dealer in Exeter. (they obviously saw me coming!)
I have a 36 month warranty to rely on. One thing is distressing me. My wife has dementia and I wanted to own something nice and reliable to help me in the next few years- no such luck
Another thing which is a personal annoyance, is that I am a Citizens Advice Adviser, and was not aware of our great friend Martin’s information in this forum. Oh dear
what will happen now - I will have to see, but at this time I don’t need this distress
This issue is between you and the dealer and you should be looking to reject the vehicle for a full refund.

I bought my 2018 Astra K 3 years ago with 16K on the clock. It reached 60k and it has been one problem after another.
Last month I spent almost 1.5k on a new clutch due to the “very common” slave cylinder fault.
This month I have the “very common” excessive end float fault.

This car has become one problem after another and good money after bad.

    Avoid the Astra K!

I was hoping that a modern car would reach 200k but it seems they are lucky to reach half that.
