Just bought a Bosch fridgeFreezer, got a bag with these parts in, no mention what they are in the manual, anyone know? Thought they might have something to do with the drip evaporation tray at the back but they don’t seem to be meant for there? 0

They look like drainage bungs and a cover, possibly also for the drainage system. Have a look at the manual to see what it says about defrosting.1

Try looking up the serial number on the parts, that might give you a clue"We act as though comfort and luxury are the chief requirements of life, when all that we need to make us happy is something to be enthusiastic about” – Albert Einstein1

Tried that no luck, the flat piece has a number on it but the two round plug type things don’t, the plugs also have a screw hole inside of them, at the bottom, with screws supplied, so makes me think maybe not for contact with water?Clive_Woody said:Try looking up the serial number on the parts, that might give you a clue
Just emailed Bosch see if they get back to me.0 -
Not 100% sure, but the flatter bit looks like the piece they often give you as a hinge point cover when reversing the door opening.

Yeah you are right! Thanks. Just checked on the hinge side and there is a similar piece there, I guess the two plugs are part of that too.Woolsery said:Not 100% sure, but the flatter bit looks like the piece they often give you as a hinge point cover when reversing the door opening.Hate when I have pieces left over not knowing what they are for.0 -
The round plastic parts are spacers which attach to the rear of the fridge/freezer. When fitted they stop the machine being pushed too close to the wall, restricting airflow.1
