Also please check the serial number on the meter and the one on the bill .

Ok - so whatever meter number they have put on my bill doesn't not appear anywhere on my meter

they've generated a new bill for January 17 - June 19 & have cancelled all the others so I can't see them.

Total bill is for £402.66 & They are telling me I owe them £163 after my previous payments have been deducted.

I can see that the electric is all based on meter readings but gas is still based on an estimate despite me having spent over 1 hour on an online chat yesterday to give them a new meter reading so that they can generate a new bill.

Furthermore, the bills I have already paid in that period had meter readings for the gas itemised on them so I really don't know what to do.  There must be somewhere else I can go and dispute this other than some online chat?  I just don't want to pay this until they've got rid of these estimates.

Yes, it sounds as though you need to raise a Complaint.
Keep detailed records in case you then need to go to the Ombudsman.

If you've given them an actual meter reading then they should calculate a bill based on the reading given.
Someone please tell me what money is
