UW trying to charge for electricity I never used.

Hi both,
Prior to this we’ve never had any issues with them. But I can see why you wouldn’t want to use this company.Yes they closed down this recent complaint with no communication to myself at all. You would have though that they would have at least informed me what the outcome was so I could then challenge further and escalate it. Similarly there was no notice that they would block the internet. To be fair when I called today the woman was helpful and it’s now back up and running but still a massive inconvenience.I’m in the process of drafting my complaint again and will once again provide them with a full chronology and for balance will put the things I think they did well such as removing the meter even though that was a bit of a battle. I wasn’t sure if at this stage I’d be okay to go straight to the ombudsman given I’d already raised a complaint. I’m also going to ask for a written confirmation of my complaint and also a reasonable timeframe for them to respond.I will update when I have an outcome but apparently thats another 8-12 weeks.0
