I HAVE THE CHANCE TO BUY A PROPERTY ABROAD AT A GOOD PRICE FOR CASH?

Please make sure you have proper legal advice (ie you can sue the insured lawyer if it all goes pear shaped) before parting with your money - how good a price is it? Generally when something seems to good to be true it is exactly that.

Apart from the caveat - there's no limit on what you can take out of the UK - but the destination may have exchange controls.

Hmmm, why do THEY need you to carry cash?

If it's legit, they could easily sort it via a bank account as a transfer. If it's not legit, I'd suggest it might bite back at sometime, if not when you arrive and get the cash taken off you.

I need about £70,00 not sure what it is in euros.

It's quite important to know, surely?

I mean how can you know you're getting a good deal if it's being sold to you in Stirling? Surely the housing market in Euroland is priced in Euros :confused and therefore the house has to be priced in Euros to know a remotely true value. Exchange rates vary so you can pay quite different sums in Stirling for a set amount of Euros.

Either you or the person you are buying from has not done their homework at all
