For 'Intelligent' it isn't just questions, you would have to successfully complete a test charge under their control, but for 'Go' I don't see a problem with using a 'granny charger' for a PHEV.

when I did the maths I would need to be doing a lot of home charging to make the switch worthwhile.

When was that though? With the current looming increase it’s actually cheaper to fix the electric now. I’m going to see if I can download usage rates and time of day for usage to see how much difference it’ll make. I think it’ll save £2 per charge so that’ll soon add up over a month.
