Has anyone joined the bitcoin trading
I deposited £215 and had to send my Id to global bitcoin, I did this and they acknowledged my I’d but since then I have not been able to get hold of them they do not answer any emails.
has anyone else had this problem or is this a scam.

It is a scam. Martin Lewis would never recommend such a thing. I'm sorry, but your money is gone. Perhaps report to ActionFraud, but you won't see it again. In fact you should report it if they have identity documents, as you may be a victim of identity fraud in the future.

Its a scam. Martin doesn't do ads.
Have a read of Martin Lewis: Should you buy Bitcoin? (moneysavingexpert.com)3 -
I saw the same ad, it's a scam. Reported to Facebook yet it was still visible 12 hours later. They really don't take scams very seriously.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.4

You need to treat every advert, email and telephone call as a scam until proven otherwise. Unfortunately it's the world we live in.jeanmargaret said:I saw an advert on Martin Lewis on Facebook to trade bitcoin. Has anyone else tried this .

No I have not tried, as posters above point. Its 100% scam."If you aren’t willing to own a stock for ten years, don’t even think about owning it for ten minutes” Warren Buffett

As others have indicated above, Martin does not advertise products in this way.
This is one of the topics covered on our MoneySavingExpert Help pages:
https://help.moneysavingexpert.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001619168-How-do-I-report-a-fake-ad
We're aware of some adverts along these lines online and on social media. I can assure you that these adverts are in no way linked to Martin or MoneySavingExpert.
It is something Martin's legal team are working on, but unfortunately it's a tough one to solve - these companies are shut down but then seem to start up again in a different name. For more, check out Martin's video about this issue.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajz-ySqdnxg You can also forward details of this ad (and any further similar ads you see) to the National Cyber Security Centre at report@phishing.gov.uk and it can try to tackle the issue.

Sorry this happened to you jeanmargaret. There's a company called global bitcoin on Companies House but it's dissolved - don't know if it's the same one as the one you paid money to. There are addresses for London and Poland but again don't know if they will be of any use. The persons connected to the global bitcoin ltd on Companies House, have had a fair few companies start up and then dissolved. It's the same if you type the the guy's name into google - dissolved companies in Poland come up. I don't wish to add stress but keep an eye on other money matters as they have your id. Contact Citizen's Advice as they will know more than I do on this matter.0

If it's the same guy, some companies in Poland still trading. Email addresses on 'national court register', which may be their version of companies house?0
