Apparently I owe money to Utility Point (in administration) - Barratt Smith & Brown

Hey Guys,
After a bit of advice.
Out of the blue I received an e-mail from a recovery firm (Barratt Smith & Brown) claiming to be acting on behalf of the administrators of Utility Point.
As far as I can tell I stopped being a customer of Utility Point in Jan 2020, and they didnt go pop until Sept 2021. I can't find any contact from them, or their administrators saying I owe them money - yet these collectors say I do.
I've asked for evidence, or contact details of the administrators, stating that I wasn't a customer for well over a year before they entered administration, and was never asked for funds - they never sent PDF statements, only e-mails directing me to their portal, which has long since gone, so can't check myself.
I'm loathed to pay funds to these people without evidence I actually owe the money - as it smells of spam etc etc
Is there anything else I should be doing?
