HELP - Travel Insurance but waiting for tests

I go on holiday next week, travel insurance was booked ages ago, rang to say I was waiting for an appointment for tests for my liver, the insurance company said no can do and cancelled the policy.  where else can I try for cover?  I keep ringing https://www.avantitravelinsurance.co.uk/getting-travel-insurance#undiagnosed but, not getting any response.  is there anywhere else?

Did this condition exist before you bought the policy? Did you declare it at the time of buying if so? What was the original policy?

It did not exist before I bought the policy, just rang once I knew so that they were aware of it

Thanks for the link, we are in a similar situation, have a month away planned in July, all cancellable luckily, but now waiting for test results for my husband. If we do get to go we'll need insurance, not necessarily for this possible new issue, but in general should anything else happen. We may not know if we can actually go until a few days before, nightmare!
