Zalando refusing refund for returned item lost in transit

  • I have the same problem with Zalando with return of three parcels with a few items inside that cost all together £633.99. I used Zalando's sticky labels that were on the delivery notes, I also put insides of the boxes return papers and sent them back with EVRI on 16th of January 2023. Evri gave me one blue receipt for all of the parcels. On 15th of January I contacted Zalando asking them if they received my returns and when I could expect refunds. Zalando said that they did not get my returns and asked me to fill-in Legal Form that they sent me by email together with all the proofs and tracking numbers. I did what they requested immediately, I have sent them filled-in Legal Forms, copies of all the labels, copies of their delivery notes, and also copies of EVRI blue receipt/confirmation of postage. In the morning of 16th of January I have revived an email from Zalando where they said that they did not received my returns and therefore they refuse to refund me. I sent them several following emails asking if they need something else from me, so I am ready to answer any of their questions. But have got the same answer again and again from Zalando, where they said that they and not able to refund me. To say I am in shock is to say nothing. I am absolutely devastated and crushed, as £633.99 is a very big money for me, the reason for ordering these expensive items was that I wanted to find some outfits for a very special event, but unfortunately the items were not the right size for me, so I had to return them. I have already contacted my credit card provider and filled in their forms online. But the most horrible thing is that the EVRI tracking numbers from Zalando's labels are not recognized by the EVRI website! I pout tracking numbers in the window and it shows a note that the numbers are not recognized. I don't understand how come it can be, because these tracking numbers are on the labels that have been provided by Zalando. I guess that credit card provided will check the tracking numbers and see the same as I do, that numbers are not valid :( Now I fill absolutely devastated with the situation. Could you please give me an advice what I have to do next. Thank you for any advice in advance.
