Smart meter affecting video sender?

Will a smart meter (due to have one fitted) adversely affect a video sender I have to a TV? As far as I know they both use the 2.45ghz frequency. If it does I don't one, I don't want to replace the sender with a TV aerial.

    Maybe this should be posted on the techie board? Just to add, I'm pretty 50-50 about having a smart meter. But if it means the expense and faff of installing a new aerial I can certainly live without one.

    Lots of things operate in that frequency range, mobile phones, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, ZigBee, some wireless devices, even waste emissions from Microwaves, as well as a whole bunch of other electronic kit. It will be fine.

    Get a smart meter, there is really no reason not to unless one is of the tin-foil hat wearing brigade.
