DCBL Letter

Hi everybody. Im wondering if anyone can give me some advice please as this has my head battered. Back in Oct 2020 myself and my partner visited Keswick. I was heavily pregnant at the time so we pulled into a street right next to McDonald’s thinking it was part of McDonald’s. My partner was driving and I had to jump out to run into McDonald’s toilets as I was desperate (baby lying on bladder). The car was not left unattended, the engine was never turned off. We literally pulled in to turn around. I then received a fine for ‘parking without a permit or authority’. I joined a group on FB and was told to ignore this letter. I have then just received another letter stating I owe £160. Is there anyway this can be appealed saying as the car was never actually parked / left unattended. This has got me really stressed out. I don’t currently work after having my son born with serious health conditions so unable to afford this fine but scared incase bailiffs come or need to go to court.
Thank you for reading. Any advice is appreciated!

Welcome! You haven't said if this is:
(a) a tedious debt crawler DCBLtd letter begging for £170
(b) a DCBLegal letter talking about court
(c) a DCBLtd letter for over £250, saying you already have a CCJ.
You also don't mention having read any threads, or the NEWBIES thread.

Hi, sorry This is the first time using this site. I had been on reading some articles before signing up. I have attached photo of letter.0

That is a debt collector letter. The next one might be a letter of/before claim leading to N1 claim form. Did you complain to McDonald's? Were you actually a customer?2

You've left your name showing!2

I didn’t complain to McDonald’s no. Yes we were customers there as we went through drive thru to order breakfast after using their toilet.I didn’t realise I shouldn’t show my name??
I have my name visible on my profile also. Does this matter?0 -
There have been past I Park cases involving the NFU Mutual premises. The NFU became quite helpful - eventually.I suggest you write to them, explaining your then condition and subsequent complications and ask them to intervene and get this cancelled for you. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
