Fast track at Stansted

Hello everyone,
just after your opinion if it worth buying Fast track at Stansted airport. The flight is end of July, 6am. Given the mess happening at the airports, does it worth or it will be more or less the same due to staff shortage? It costs £7pp, not expensive but for the whole family adds up.
Another point is it opens from 4am. We might be earlier than that as flight is sharp at 6am.
Any opinion is welcome
thanks!

Are they selling them? Manchester stopped selling due to the crowds and lack of staff.

Presumably this can be bought right up to the time, so no particular reason to do so at this stage, some 6/7 weeks in advance, when things could change quite a bit between now and then, although school holidays will inevitably have an effect.

If you're looking to pass through security at 4am, I wouldn't have thought that the crowds would have reached their peak by then but don't know what the passenger flows are like at that time....

Pre-covid times, but used to go through regularly and tended to buy fast track if needed when there. More often than not it wasn't needed unless the bag drop (Ryanair in this case) had been extremely slow.

Yes, they do online. Book in advance, limited availability

@eksbanker Thank you. Might wait for July then and see how it goes. We took the same flight last year and it wasn’t that bad, tbh.

See my recent thread about arriving at Stansted. When I arrived, no-one at all was using Fast Track. There was a long queue for the scanning machines (use with British passports) but it was moving extremely rapidly.

If you want to use Fast Track, you can book it on-line up to one hour before your arrival (so once you can see the queue it is too late).

I had assumed we were talking departure fast track rather then arrival.
