I got one in February before the 3.1% saying I would get £175 a week £700 pound a month matching what they told me in April 21 and what they are telling me I am getting now post 3.1% inflation rise0

It's a pity that you didn't manage to get a forecast online before you retired.RamsgateDave said:I got one in February before the 3.1% saying I would get £175 a week £700 pound a month matching what they told me in April 21 and what they are telling me I am getting now post 3.1% inflation rise
I'm just thinking though, if what you were told in February this year was that £175 per week was your estimate based on your NI record up to 5/4/21, then I would think you would still be due to get the 3.1% increase and the increase from your 2021/22 NI contributions. If that is the case, I would think that would take you up to the current maximum of £185.15 per week. I may be wrong about that - the other previous posters on here may be able to comment as to whether that is possibility?0 -
