Like a jack-in-the-box that's just been cranked to the max, the latest Money Tips email is about to spring into view.

Give it a proper comb over when you can. For now though, here are five highlights you might like:

  1. Important: Martin Lewis's energy bill update
"I promised to let you know when it was time to fix energy. Well, for many (not all) that's today"

  2. Boots offer-stacking trick
Get £37 of No7 cosmetics for £13.50. Online only, while stocks last

  3. Battle of the banks: top easy-access savings
Virgin 1.56% (+ possible switch bonus) vs Chase 1.5% (+ cashback). You can get either WITHOUT having to switch

  4. Flight cancelled?
Don't be fobbed off with just a 'refund or alternative flight' - you're likely due £100s in compensation too

  5. Rare Eurostar 20% off code
For travel between 20 Jun-22 Sep (with a few exclusions). Ends at 11.59pm on Mon 13 June or when all codes are claimed

While I've got you...

Check Facebook next week for a preview💻

Huge thanks to anyone who checked the MSE Facebook page for the early preview of the email on Tuesday evening. Every week we post a preview in return for feedback. Any bugs or inaccuracies you spot help us to perfect the email before it goes out officially.

Send us your Money Moral Dilemma🤔

You might be a fan of the Money Moral Dilemma, a long-time feature of the email which gets its own Forum thread so you can discuss (here's this week's). If you've got a Money Moral Dilemma of your own you'd like to share, email it to us at mmd@moneysavingexpert.com and it might end up in a future Money Tips email.

Hi Regarding EDF 24% higher to fix than price cap. My rates quoted are 9.629/Kwh Gas and 33.62/ Kwh Electric with same standing charge as price cap. Rates for Gas with cap is 7.226 and Electric 27.09. I work this out as 24% increase for Electric but 33% increase for Gas as compared to your quoted 24% increase ( for both?_
    Cheers!!!

Hello @billyboy, thank you for this. Our figures are for dual-fuel and are based on typical energy usage – prices and percentage difference will vary by usage and region.
