Virgin Money slow banking App

Hi guys. Hope you all had a great bank holiday. I'm just wondering if anyone else has problems with Virgini Money banking app. It's ridiculously slow to update so you have a false reading of what you actually have in the bank. I've phoned up and complained but all I got told was It's down to using contactless at stores which takes longer to show on your account. I know this isn't true becsuse my wife's in a different bank and her app updates as soon as she spends.

I don't make card purchases with my VM account, and for what I use the app I can't say it's slow. Unless it's down, as happened recently.
As far as card purchases are concerned, banks do depend on the retailers telling them about purchases. Whilst it could be a problem at the Virgin end, it can equally be a problem at the retailer end, or it could be a network connection problem.
If you feel the Virgin service is consistently worse than that of your wife's bank, which not switch your account to her bank?0 -
Whenever I've used the app the balance is updated instantly so I've not seen any slowness.Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0
