Can't set my Sky+ remote to operate a replacement TV

I've just had my Sky+ box replaced for the second time in a year - fortunately, I took out their Sky Repair Plan:j . Although the new box is working (at the moment!), when it was installed, the remote control was set to control the television I had at the time, a Matsui; however, the day after the box was replaced, the television developed a problem :mad: (lucky, or what?!) so I have replaced it with another, a spare Goodman's widescreen, but, when I try to alter the Sky remote control to operate this television, despite following the instructions in the Sky manual, I get no response at all from the TV. I would be very grateful for any advice from the brilliant techies on here.
