Documentation for passport renewal

Hi everyone,
I'm attending a passport renewal interview this week. From what I understand I will need to take:
A completed passport application form + 2 photos + my old passport.
Is this correct, or do I need to take something else?
Thank you

It will depend on the nature of your renewal, for example if you are a dual citizen you also need to bring your non-UK passport0

Thanks.
No I'm not a duel citizen. Just my old passport has expired and I need a new one. Nothing more than that and no name etc change either lol.0 -

If your name , gender , nationality and all other details remain the same as your previous passport - you don’t need anything else than what you have already listed .Make sure the passport photos meet the criteria: https://www.gov.uk/photos-for-passports/photo-requirements0 -
Thank you, that's reassuring.
I tried day and night to book an appointment and honestly couldn't believe my luck when I finally managed one. In the short time it took me to fill in the details, all other appointments across the country were gone.
I wear glasses and noticed a small reflection below my eyes in the printed photos, so took a second print without the glasses. Hopefully they'll pass.1 -
My son recently managed to get an premium appointment to renew his passport .
He kept trying as slots were issued throughout the day. He found that while filling out the details the appointment would disappear.
The office was queued outside and many did not have an appointment. Those with appointments were called out of the queue for their allocated time. Those without appointments were dealt with separately.
He said it was a very slick experience.1 -
Been to the appointment, thankfully it all went well. The actual "interview" barely took 5 minutes, if that.
However, I noticed only half the booths were staffed, which may help explain the delays inside and the long queues outside.0 -
My son was amazed at how quickly the new passport available.0
