Smart Meter and EON.
We have had a smart meter connected since 2016 and have had no problem until a few weeks ago. Now the IHD is showing NO network so we are not getting any readings, EON are happy because they are getting reading from the meter, but we cannot monitor what we are using, I have messaged EON many times but are just getting fobbed off, even being told it could take 9 months to sort out. I thought Smart Meters were a priority so we could manage or energy better. Any Ideas who to contact next?

Are you talking about the In House Display toy in your kitchen ? In which case not a priority
The Smart meter will be in your garage or outdoor meter box. Can you still read that displayNever pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
The smart meter itself is working fine if Eon gets automatic readings, so there is a problem with the IHD. If the IHD is broken Eon will not replace it, if you are lucky they might sell you a new one. otherwise you need to but a third party device or use Bright as suggested above.0

You can buy a replacement for £50 if you know the problem is definitely with the IHD. https://ivie.co.uk/eonnext/0
