Ideal Boiler LPG Plus Heat Combi always on, help please !!!

I was and remain concerned that my boiler is using unnecessary LPG as it’s always on making the noise of burning/ buzzing/spinning (!) although there’s not always a flame pic on the LCD.
We have a Gledhill Thermal Store ‘tank’ and due to my concerns I called out an Ideal Gas Engineer, part of his report read “
. Boiler has a perm Live..no switched live, so boiler always on searching for one of the 3 pumps to come on...“
Im assuming I’ll need to call out an electrician to connect another wire from the boiler to the Gledhill ?? Is that correct and is it an easy fix ??
Any help/advice very much appreciated.

Yes your heating / Hot water system is wired up incorrectly you need a switch live wire from wiring centre which is in the proximity of your Gledhill cylinder.
Get a good heating engineer to look at it that's competent with electrics as most electricians don't know how a heating system works.
You may well have a wire already at boiler that is not used that can be connected would start there.1
