Decent mid range brands for electric stove and fridge freezer

Hi Experts. I am moving home in a couple of weeks and need to buy a stove and a fridge freezer. My budget for each is a max of £500 per item. I was wondering if you can recommend some decent brands for me. I have been advised to avoid Beko and Candy but otherwise am in the dark. Any recommendations would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Thanks

Most of my appliances are Bosch, very happy with them.

Bosch, AEG and Zanussi (part of AEG) have been good for me. Have a look at AO outlet Telford - its their 100 day return items. They come with a years warranty and show any issues with the appliances in the photos.FTB - April 20201

@SaverRate I took a look at the AO outlet, there's certainly some bargains to be had. Thanks for sharing.0

Mileage may vary, bit my experience of Beko appliances has been flawless.
Like you, I didn't set out to get Beko stuff because they seemed kind of cheap and cheerful.
However, we got a fridge freezer from them because (at least at the time) it was the only one which could be used in an unheated outbuilding. Others required minimum temperatures consistent with a heated room.
When we needed a washing machine a weird combination of offers meant we could get a Beko one delivered with a two year warranty for less than we could find anything second hand from a brand with a more premium reputation. It would have been rude not to!
Most recently we had a new kitchen and got a Beko dryer and a dishwasher. We needed them during lockdowns when supply issues made it difficult to get much else without at least trebling the budget.
All four appliances have been great, and among the cheapest we could get. On the basis of my experience with their stuff, I recommend it.0 -
@casper_gutman Thanks for that. Maybe I should give Beko a bit of a rethink. So you've run the appliances with no issues then?0

I paid nearly 2 grand for a Smeg fridge that lasted less than three years I think from now onwards I’m gonna go for something like Becco with zero expectations and if it lasts for more than three years I’m winning0

LG Appliances are all I will buy. Not only are they extremely good at their job and smart looking, they're reliable and the service is brilliant.
I've even had the seal rip on my washing machine from shutting the door with clothes hanging out by accident. They fixed it for free.
Got my fridge with a tiny barely noticable dent in it for £300 off the retail price, have a look what you can find on eBay - loads of stuff in outlet stores with the odd ding in it but otherwise immaculate. Some is trashed but some has tiny damage you wouldn't notice unless you looked for it.2 -
How many brands are made in the same factory with a different logo stuck on them?Barnsley, South Yorkshire

I’ve got a Bosch Fridge Freezer (and dishwasher) and I’m very happy with the both of them. However you can’t go wrong with any of the brands mentioned in this thread and personally I’m not particularly brand loyal.1
