Buying concert tickets

My missus really wants to go see a music concert next Saturday,  I've seen people selling tickets on gumtree but I'm worried about buying off there, do you need corresponding Id to go with the name onbthe tickets nowadays or did I dream this up??

I’d be very wary on Gumtree. 

Have you tried Twickets? It’s genuine and only allows face value sales or less than face value. 

In regard to the names on tickets, unless this is specified then it should be okay.

If you can buy locally and collect then gumtree is fine..I have been to hundreds of gigs, never been asked for ID, they don’t care whose name is on the ticket
