Nels glad your mum has settled so well. We took DMIL out yesterday for coffee and when we got back the homes Jubilee was just starting
She also has dementia and had lived with us for 2 years and has settled well into the home
They had a video of her on the homes Facebook page dancing at Christmas not bad for a lady of 90! They all think she is a bit of a character
Need to get some things done around around the house this weekend still have loads of dad's things to sort through although feel like I'm getting there with paperwork and bills etc
DH now enjoying his retirement not sure if I mentioned I will he leaving work in a few months that will be when he will get worried as I can the chase him to do jobs
Weather here very windy today so not many plans going to make a cottage pie for dinner

Morning all. We have the usual dull skies today (again), slight breeze, dry at the moment but could be wet later in the day.
I'm so pleased to hear your DM was on form when you visited her Nels, but yes, it's a strange reversal of roles that takes a lot of getting used to.
Congratulations on the new arrival maddie.
Slow down Gers, I feel exhausted just reading about your exploits! Glad you're enjoying gadding about though.
Are you looking forward to retirement, NRA? I had to chuckle at the thought of you chasing up your DH to do jobs.
I've nothing of interest on today's agenda, it's just the usual stuff, but I'm sure I'll find something to do. I might just close my eyes and stick a pin in the To Do list! Of course there's always that dratted spare bedroom - if only I could summon up the enthusiasm!
Tea tonight is a seafood platter, apple pie for afters.
Have a good weekend if you can and take care. XBe kind to others and to yourself too.9
