Last year I switched an account to HSBC including 3 DWP payments, that was done with no effort from me at all. However, I am currently 9 days into switching into Nationwide from another bank and it has not followed the guidance at all. Having just come off the phone to Nationwide they told me I was only doing a "partial switch?". I even went on their chat line before I started the process explaining that I wanted to switch and close my old bank account. I don't know what their switching team is doing but, right now even with a lot of money in Nationwide, I wouldn't recommend them, so I guess it depends on the bank you are switching to whether it's successful or not. HTHIf youcan lie down at night knowing in your heart that you just made someone’s day just a little bit better,you know you had a good day!!0
