So, the 2 black bars on the side of the house in the left, behind the wood - structural tie bars, likely underpinned too.

The house to the right has no signs of movement at all.

Could just be from the original structural windows being replaced with non structural windows?2006 LBM £28,000+ in debt.

I'd be wary!! You'd need to get a very through survey to set your mind at rest though I think if you decided to buy it0

The routing of the drainage on the right hand house would bother me more.3

😂, the house is nice, very nice area too, it just makes me wonder why it’s got tie bars, it’s not an area with subsidenceBrie said:I'd be more worried if the yard was a complete tip or there were tires stacked in the drive.0 -

They said it was done in the 1990s before they bought it and was said to be caused by the railway embankment at the top of the hill (disused and reopen now as a toy railway) - that house has another attached to it which is about 10-15m from the embankment.Brie said:you could try knocking on the door and ask!0 -
Also, is there a way I can search for the reason, wouldn’t it be logged somewhere been as it can affect others??0

Do an insurance quote search. It may pre-fill answers (eg 'ever had subsidence?') based on shared insurance databases.Obviously had a large crack above that top window that's been filled. Whole wall needs re-painting! That alsomakes me think the replacement windows might have been the issue. Can't see what lintels there are behind the render.0
