We need you and your wife (separately) as genuine PPC victims of intimidation, sharp practice and an 'extortion' attempt that would have added £70 on top (had you not seen this off at POPLA) to respond robustly to the imminent Public Consultation.
The Government are regulating the parking industry and this final consultation will focus on the level of parking charges and banning of the false added £70 DRA 'fee' that too many honest motorists currently fall victim to.
It will need consumer input (powerful voices) but change is afoot. It's taken about 5 years to get to this stage:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6333036/breaking-news-government-has-announced-the-statutory-code-of-practice-and-enforcement-framework/p1
And then the industry threw victims' money at it and blocked and delayed it - explained here:

Please now Bookmark BOTH threads and set up email alerts on your posting profile, so that you get an email alert when we post there, as we will, once the Public Consultation opens - anticipated in a few weeks...
We need people like you and your driving family & friends to respond in high numbers. I am sure you and your wife will want your voices heard to stop this happening again.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

ok Thanks I'll look out for that. My wife was very worried about the extra £70 for late payment whilst the appeal was ongoing ,
and nearly cracked and paid the original £50, but fortunately with the help of people on this site I was able to reassure her.1 -
It amazes me everyday just how stupid parkung companies like Premier Park are ...... don't these fools understand that they keep on telling government that THEY are not fit for purpose
The BPA must be very proud of their foolish membership

Just recieved a fine from 50 quid for being 18 mins longer than permitted for parking Capitol Shopping, Cardiff. Had visited everlast gym. I was unaware that there was an actual time limit as the signage is not very well displayed. The fine is from a group of charlatans called Premier Park. Prob just pay to avoid the hassle, however if l do spot any of the parking company employees they'll be getting it.. ..0

If there is still no sign then why pay, how about not paying them and give the £50 to the charity of your choice?2
