AirAsia refusing to refund me

Hi there,
I tried to book a flight with Air Asia and was told my card had been declined/rejected. I tried again with a different card and the same thing happened. Needing to book this flight, I tried a third time - this time the booking was made. However I then checked and I had actually been charged 3 times and 3 bookings had been created.
I have been in touch with the airline and they are refusing to refund me for the first 2 bookings. They are only offering airline credit, which is of no use to me. I can't believe their attitude to be honest - I'm stunned.
Any suggestions as to anything I can do greatly appreciated.

As the issue was caused by your card being declined. You should contact your card provider to sort it out . Using Chargeback or Section 75 if necessary.
