Council tax rebate eligibility
We moved house on the 18/5/22 from Wales, Powys to England, Sefton. The house we occupied in Wales was in Band C and the house we have moved to in England is in Band D. We didn't receive the rebate in Wales. Are we eligible to receive the rebate in our current house ?

2. Will I be eligible for the council tax rebate?
Households are eligible where, on 1 April 2022, they are liable for council tax on a property which is in council tax bands A-D and which they live in as their main home. This includes those who receive Local Council Tax Support, even if their council tax bill for the year is less than £150.

You will have need to have occupied your current property on 1 April 2022 to be eligible.
