What evidence for Covid cancellation claim?

My daughter has just tested positive for covid and is supposed to be flying off on holiday on Monday. Gutted for her as she's only 17 and has worked and saved so hard for it. She has Easyjet travel insurance with Covid cancellation cover and it says thgey need written evidence. Does this mean a PCR test as obviously these are not easy to get now. I'm assuming they won't accept a lateral flow result. Has anybody got any experience of this? Really hope someone can help us.

You will need to pay for a test with a certified result from a private provider.
