Virgin M Plus internet banking payment limits

Recently I came across quite severe limits when paying money from the Virgin M Plus current account using internet banking. Apparently the single transaction limit is £500 and the daily limit is £1,000. I've never encountered such low limits on any other current account; £10,000 is the lowest limit I'm aware of elsewhere. The limit if you use the Virgin app is said to be £30,000.
I've had a look at the T&Cs that I downloaded when I opened the account a long time ago and I can't find any reference to these limits. Surely there should be?
Can anyone confirm any of this, or point out where I'm going horrendously wrong, please?

I got caught by the same problem a couple of months back. I contacted them using their chat facility & was told that if I downloaded their app, all the restrictions would be lifted. As soon as I registered the app, I was able to log back onto the internet banking site & move the money without any more problems....0

I had this problem not so long back. If you don't want to bother with the app just order a security token. This will also remove the restrictions. To do this just go onto the live chat in online banking or give them a ring. As long as you say you don't have a smartphone or tablet they'll send you a token.0

As I was already registered with internet banking as soon as I inputted my customer number, the app was populated with my accounts, payees etc. The whole process only took a couple of minutes.0 -
They can also send them in branch (including above 30k) with id if needed.0

I've just closed my account for this(and other) reasons. What a faff! You can't close online, nor on the phone, so it's either a letter to head office or a vsit to a branch.Went to a branch (which stank of ciggy smoke!) and it took the clearly incompetant girl 45 minutes.....Glad tbe free!0
