Nationwide underwriter

Hi,

It has been a week since our valuation and everything has been handed over to the Nationwide underwriter and we have still not had any more information since..how long does this stage usually take?

We haven't been told whether the house valuation was ok but our mortgage broker said it must have been ok otherwise they would have been told if there were any issues. Thanks

@rumana03 As you can see from the detailed service levels here, Nationwide is currently painfully slow at processing mortgage applications, so it's probably just a matter of waiting until your case comes to the top of the queue.

Hi, they are slow.. our valuation was carried out on 18/5 and we didn’t hear anything until 26/5 which was a text from Nationwide saying they have received our valuation and would be in touch

Just done a very painful LTB/purchase combo with The Mortgage Works and Nationwide.

TMW app submitted on 19 April. Eventually offered on 17 May after an error on the valuation lost us fifteen days.

Nationwide app submitted on 21 April. As TMW offer needed for this, purchase offer issued 26 May.
